The Makery @ Chandler Public Library

Description

The Makery at the Downtown Chandler Public is a free makerspace that increases community access to emerging technologies and traditional maker resources. The suite of spaces includes a large programming room, an audio/visual production studio, and a do-it-yourself lab filled with devices such as an Ultimaker 3D printer, Glowforge Pro, Cricut Maker, and sewing machine. Community partnerships and maker programming foster opportunities for all ages to explore emerging technologies, learn new skills, and create various forms of art and media content.

Outcomes

The Makery can help ensure current and future job seekers in our community have learning opportunities with emerging technologies and can explore creative problem solving through art and science activities. The Makery Highlights:
