Description

Eugene Public Library’s maker activities offer a wide variety of ways to develop skills, use tools, explore, invent and create for success in school, work, art and life. Opportunities are available for all ages and every level: hobbyist, student and professional. Our spaces are available for Eugene Public Library cardholders and offer equipment and support in fabrication (3-D printing and CNC milling), textiles (sewing, embroidery, looming, etc.), hand crafts (vinyl cutting, origami, etc.), robotics (coding, littleBits, Finch robots, programming, etc.), design and audio (Adobe Creative, video editing, audio recording, slide scanning, etc.) and more!

Outcomes

Library patrons learn new skills and technologies through hands-on experience. We hear from our patrons all the time about the benefits of having access to our equipment and technology. From prototyping, developing skills for career aspirations and making project dreams become a reality, the Eugene Public Library’s makerspaces provide our community opportunities to learn and grow.
