ULC Unveils New Website

September 5th, 2012

On Wednesday, September 5th, ULC launched a new website to better serve its members.  This new, state-of-the-art digital home provides ULC members and visitors with a more streamlined and user-friendly experience, easy-to-find information about ULC programs and services and links to the national initiatives being led by the organization.

“Our website is such a valuable tool for our members,” said ULC President and CEO Susan Benton. “Our members visit our site for everything from learning about upcoming events and reading our publications to connecting with their peers and researching new and innovative programming at other libraries.”

The design of the website is a continued evolution of ULC’s new visual identity, including our logo which consists of three upward moving marks – each wider than the other – representing our bedrock commitment to strengthening public libraries, advancing cutting-edge knowledge and advocating for the role of libraries as the critical anchors of vital communities.

This visual image is amplified by the message “Inspiring Libraries. Transforming Communities.”   Through imagination, innovation and sheer resilience, libraries inspire every day – in so doing, people and communities are transformed.

“We are thrilled to finally unveil this new site. It illustrates the power of ULC member libraries,” Benton said.
