March 18th, 2015

On March 17, 2015, the National Center for Families Learning Summit hosted a session and webcast to a full room and over 125 screens around the globe on library collaborations with schools in their communities. ULC members Dr. Rhea Lawson, Director of Houston Public Library; Kent Oliver, Director of Nashville Public Library; Matt Poland, Chief Executive Officer of Hartford Public Library, and others joined Susan Benton, President and CEO of ULC, in a lively discussion about navigating the rewarding and sometimes challenging relationships between libraries, schools, and communities. The recording will soon be available here.
