Lessons from Learning Labs
Teams from the national network of Learning Labs sites gathered in Pittsburgh this week to share insights that are bursting forth from this new model for youth-focused, interest-driven learning.
ULC’s Amy Eshleman spoke about the initiative with the Pittsburgh Kids+Creativity Consortium. “Learning Labs are loud, social, collaborative spaces. And that’s not the traditional view of libraries or museums. But this is the way folks learn now: they work collaboratively, iterate, show work they’ve done, try and fail and try again.”
