Small Business Connections
June 8, 2007

Across the nation, more than sixty percent of new jobs are created in the small business sector, stimulating and diversifying the local economy. The importance of small businesses to local economic health is even more pronounced in urban and urbanizing areas.  The power of this sector may be even greater as the world becomes smaller, and as access to information becomes as important as access to good locations, suppliers and distribution systems. How does your library support the growth and development of local small businesses and a stronger local economy? What do they need? What do you have? Do they know what you have?
